May 10 , 2024

ZC Rubber (Zhongce Rubber Group Co., Ltd.), a global leader in tyre manufacturing, is poised to make a significant impact on the electric vehicle (EV) market with its latest innovation. The company announced its plans to launch a new series of EV-specific tyres at the upcoming Tyre Cologne 2024 event, scheduled for June in Cologne, Germany.

Building on the success of its 2022 flagship passenger car tyres, the WESTLAKE ZuperAce Z-007 and the Goodride Solmax 1, ZC Rubber has developed upgraded versions specifically tailored for electric vehicles. The new WESTLAKE ZuperAce Z-007 EV Ready and Goodride Solmax 1 EV Ready tyres incorporate advanced tread compound technology designed to reduce rolling resistance and enhance performance, addressing the unique demands of EVs.

The advancements do not stop with these updates. ZC Rubber is set to introduce an entirely new tyre exclusively for electric vehicles, which achieves outstanding ratings in the European tyre label system for fuel efficiency, wet grip, and noise reduction. This move underscores the company's dedication to innovation and its commitment to environmental sustainability.

The launch event will feature a presentation by ZC Rubber's European head and an appearance by an Arsenal Club Legend, celebrating the company's ongoing partnership with the football club as its Official Global Partner since last year. This collaboration highlights ZC Rubber's prominent industry presence and its strategy of aligning with globally recognised brands to enhance its market reach.

Henry Shen, Vice President of ZC Rubber, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming product launch: "We are excited to present our latest EV tyre technologies at this year’s Tyre Cologne. These developments mark a major advancement in our commitment to enhancing electric vehicle performance through innovative tyre solutions. Our new EV-specific tyres are crafted to deliver exceptional performance, efficiency, and safety for EV owners."
